What Is The Date By Which Employers Must Revise And Update I-9 Documents

I 9 Verification 2022 – Employers are required to reverify an employee’s paperwork only when the employee’s employment authorization certificate (EAD) or receipt has expired. Reverification must be done not later than the date of expiration for the authorization to work. If the employer isn’t able to renew the authorization, the worker’s employment may not continue. Employers who employ temporary work visas are urged to apply for an extension at least 90 days before the date on which they will expire their EAD.
