What Is The Time Frame For Employers To Revise And Revise I-9 Documents?
I9 2022 Form – Employers are required to update an employee’s paperwork only when the employee’s employment authorization form (EAD) or the receipt is expired. Revisions must be made no later than the expiration date for the work authorization. The worker could be fired if the employer does not reverify the authorization. Employees who are on temporary work visas are urged to apply for an extension no later than 90 days prior to the date they expire on their EAD.
